ZOE & ALEJANDRO: Thanks. I agree with you Zoe – I love figs and they are underrated. I grew up in the South and I remember that you used to be able to just pick them off of the trees while walking home from school. Oh god, I sound like my dad. Yikes!

MORTA DI FAME: You should definitely try this grilled fruit salad. It truly has a beautiful flavor. I found these figs at the local farmers market in Westchester, NY. I bet if you look, you can find even better ones. Happy fig hunting.
