Hellllloooo Reggie – its been a while since I have been here, thanks for adjusting the recipe. I have made it and it is a hot fav of everyone that I serve it to. I am a a great cook but a lousy baker – this is just just perfect!!!!!!

SS: Thanks for the comment. Oppps. I forgot the raisins. The raisins should be sprinkled on top of the pie just before the custard is poured on top. For a little extra flavor you can also spoon two teaspoons of the raisin-steeped hazelnut liqueur on top of the pie with the raisins.

I’m thinking this is a must try. I can visual the crunchy texture and the buttery hazelnut flavors. Aren’t hazelnuts wonderful?
