I definitly got that "Tardy For the Party" reference.
too many Real Housewives, not enough time to watch them! =P

and loved the recipe as well! This was actually my first time cooking with truffle oil, which somewhat intimidated me for a second, but it still turned out fantastic.

PHYLLIS: Thanks!
.
LINDA: I appreciate the kind words. I might have to take you up on the salt sample offer. :)
.
JENNIFER: That's a good idea. I think the tart would work great as a veggie dish.
.
ANIKO: I have to say, asparagus is probably my favorite vegetable ever.
.
KIMBERLEYBLUE: I'm with you. What doesn't taste better with a little truffle oil? ;)
.
KATE: 'trust your inner foodie gut'...I couldn't agree with you more.

Recipes are simply open season to one's creativity. I learned long ago that following any recipe line by line is nothing more than a lesson in sheer disappointment, and when I put my own spin on it, the results are phenomenal. Always trust your gut instinct, and make the changes. As you discovered, the end is worth it. That tart, and your photos look incredible. Great job!

Oooh, I like the way this looks! Truffle oil would definitely push this great-sounding tart right over the edge.

I love your site- so visually appealing! Very creative with the asparagus and truffle oil- nice touch! We have a wonderful toasted onion or roasted garlic sea salts you should try- either one would add a wonderful layer of flavor as well! Would love to send you a sample to try.
